Skagit County is a just a few miles south of our home. Similar to my home county of Whatcom, it has river valleys, farming, mountains, and forested areas. The images in this gallery reflect what Skagit county is to me.
Northern State Hospital was a mental institution using patients to work in the farms in animal husbandry and crops. Now the site of a park, the outbuildings are slowly decaying and are being overcome by vegetation.
