Whatcom county has been my home since I was born. It has everything: rivers, lakes, forests, farms, mountains and islands. My camera and I try to capture my birthplace before it all goes away.

clikrf8 > Although Whatcom county is becoming urbanized, there are still some areas where its farming heritage is evident. This barn is near the Nooksack River which floods onto the fields after heavy rains. It was a foggy mid-January morning when i shot this image.
