clikrf8 > Indesign is a layout program designed to work seamlessly with the other applications in Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop and Illustrator. It allows the designer to cut and paste with the click of a mouse. One of our challenges was to design a mailer for a summer class sponsored by an imaginary college. The crabs were done in Illustrator and the basket is one I have at home that I shot then converted to sepia tones, adding red to a selection.

Trilliums were drawn in Illustrator and the photo is a closeup of local driftwood with a red accent.

It allows the designer to cut and paste with the click of a mouse. This is a brochure that promotes a tour company's offerings. All images were taken by me in Europe during 1969 -70 with my first SLR, a Mamiya-Sekor with 50mm lens. The tickets are souvenirs. All were scanned into Photoshop then placed using Indesign.
clikrf8 > Logos. I love 'em!!!!! This black and white design was an early assignment requiring the use of two letters to make an abstract design. The "w" actually has the arrows as we were not allowed to alter the shape of the letter with the various tools in Illustrator.

clikrf8 > Logos. I love 'em!!!!! An alternative logo for the CD cover; the name of the band is I5 Ivy whose name is inspired by the ivy climbing the walls of the sound barriers in the York neighborhood which is bisected by Interstate 5 in Bellingham, Washington.
